Fund for Community Owned Enterprises

Fund for Community Owned Enterprises Claimed

Average Reviews

What is your idea / business and to whom is it addressed?

The idea is to create a social impact Fund for the promotion and financing of community owned enterprises in the massification of financial inclusion that allows large numbers of ordinary people to engage in the commercial production of goods and services and as a common market of preferential trade at the national scale. This is a first in the world community to community trade network concept that allows organised groups in the same country to produce incomes, economic opportunities and create wealth as favoured clients of each other's Investment efforts. This is a potential global business model and with potential huge returns for investors partnering consumers on debt with equity basis to produce for and trade among themselves.

How should the idea/business earn money?

Interest on loans as well as taking up equity in each community owned enterprise. The returns are immidiate as the share owners of the community enterprises will be required to pool their own financial contributions as the first step towards repaying the loan advanced to their company. Each enterprise will consist of no less than 200 people and given a seed capital of between $20 000 and $50 000 (20k-50k). The market size is infinite as it targets everyone who is a consumer and wants to create passive income through trade.

At what stage is the idea / business at the moment?

The project is still on paper but has been researched for more than 10 years and looking for the right investors to get it off the ground. I have a team with many years of combined and proven experience in micro finance and community development work.

What do you need?

I am looking for partners to put in seed capital of between $2M-$5M that will allow me to get the project off the ground with at least 100 to 500 groups of 200 people each as their own common market.
