SHANA MEMORIAL CHARITABLE TRUST ( SMCT) is formed in the year 2013 as a Pubic Charitable Trust registered under the Indian Trust Act aiming at affording financial help for medical treatment, education assistance and other charitable activities for the poor and needy. The Trust is registered under section 12AA of the Indian Income Tax Act and donations to the Trust are exempted under section 80G of the Act and so donors can claim exemption from tax under the Income tax Act on the amount donated to the Trust. The Trust is registered as a NGO with the NITI Ayog (Government of India)
