What is your idea / business and to whom is it addressed?
Wai Housing Company is a limited liability company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Uganda and run by a team of energetic and dynamic professionals qualified and experienced in different fields of operations such as architecture, survey, legal and advisory. We are currently planning our first development called the New African Village, a 14 unit two bedroom single family housing project. The Project involves buying land in a well-planned estate with access to infrastructural facilities and constructing the houses with the intent of selling them for a profit.
How should the idea/business earn money?
It is estimated that the total revenue from the sale of the 14 units will be $644,000. We also estimate that the total cost of the entire project to be $484,867, while the development profit is projected to be $121,349. We estimate that the entire project will be completed and sold out within a maximum period of 8 months.
At what stage is the idea / business at the moment?
The company has already identified a suitable site for construction and will invest close to $75,000 into the project to acquire the land representing 15% of the total development cost and 85% funded through a construction loan from our lending partners.
What do you need?
Seeking angel investor for a convertible loan of $80,000 at 20% interest per year and a 10% discount. Funds will be used purchase the land for the proposed project and operational costs.
